Historic ruling: The Provincial Court of Palma rules that foreign residents can formalize succession agreements in accordance with Balearic Civil Law.
Section 3 of the Provincial Court of the Balearic Islands has issued a ruling of enormous relevance, dated December 30, 2020, in which it estimates that foreign residents can enter into succession agreements in accordance with the regulations of Balearic civil law. This is a resolution that sheds light on an issue about which, until now, there had been confusion.
